Indication:To treat infectious diseases caused by microorganisms Gram positive and Gram negative sensitive to oxytetracycline in cases of respiratory, intestinal, dermatological, genitourinary and septicemic infections in cattle, sheep, goat and swine.
Dosage and Administration
By Intramuscular and Subcutaneous injection
For cattle, sheep, goats, and swine:
Usual dosage: At the single dose rate of 20 mg/kg body weight (i.e 1 ml of product /10 kg b. w. ) , divide the dose and administer at different sites.
When a continuance in the treatment is necessary, this can be repeated 3-5 days after the first application.
Subcutaneously to piglets:
In pigs of less than 10 kg: administer 1 ml of product , by subcutaneous route.
Contra-indications
1) Do not administer to animals that have hypersensitivity to tetracyclines.
2) Do not administer to cow or ewes during the milk production.
Warnings
1) Should be cautious to use for lactating animals.
2) Should be cautious to use in animals suffering from renal or hepatic damage.
3) If concurrent treatment is administered, use a separate injection site.
4) Do not inject more than 10ml per injection site.
Withdrawal Time
Meat: 21 days
Milk: 7 days
